Baby Shower

Since Ian came early, I missed my baby shower at the church because it was scheduled for August 21, two days after Ian arrived.  So, the shower was pushed back to September 3rd and Ian got to attend his own shower.  I have been so blessed with gifts and hand-me-downs for this baby.  It has already been 6 weeks since he was born and I have not had to buy anything but small things like wipes.  I still don't have any pictures from the first shower in Woodburn but here are some pictures from the shower in Fort Jones.

Ian all dressed up in his football outfit.  He had to wear something "manly" with all these women around!

A Cradle fruit bowl made by Aida.  I loved it and the food (potluck brunch) was amazing.

Lots of ladies attended the shower.  It was very fun.  Ian got passed around to many different arms!

The table laden with gifts.  Several ladies at the church pitched in and got me the jogging stroller which was one of my favorite presents.  On the lower left side you can also see a wood wagon piled with wood blocks.  I bet Ian will really like playing with those in a year or so.

I received several lovely handmade quilts.  This one is a "Peter rabbit" quilt with carrot print, yellow highlights, and bunny fabric.
